While the 2nd & 3rd class children were gardening today, one of the children found the first potato of 2014. Admittedly it is a very small one but nevertheless the children were excited to find it.

At the Choral Festival last Friday each school was presented with an apple tree by Wexford Union of Parishes. The middle room children (2nd & 3rd classes) planted the tree this afternoon. It will need lots of watering as it settles in to its new home in Bunclody.

Mr. Kavanagh has joined us from the closed Killegney Natioanl School. We are delighted to welcome him to Carrigduff National School and hope he will be very happy here with us. He is teaching 2nd and 3rd classes this year.
